Fuchs Umwelttechnik receives numerous enquiries Experience at SOUTHTEC, South Carolina, USA overwhelmingly positive

After three days of SOUTHTEC 2019 – the largest trade fair for industrial manufacturing in the south-eastern USA – Fuchs Umwelttechnik has numerous positives to draw from this year's trade fair appearance.

The exhibition area – equipped with KKF, TKFD and MKF compact, mobile extraction and filtering units as well as the MKFVA 320 compact dust separator and, last but not least, the MKFFUW7 spark extinguishing module – drew a large number of interested visitors to see the blue premium German-engineered units.
Frank Carstensen and Maxemilian Heindl were thrilled at the positive response and fruitful conversations. Both specialists successfully fielded question after question regarding Fuchs Umwelttechnik's product range, from their areas of application areas to issues of digitisation of the devices.
In addition, countless enquiries regarding extraction for marking, welding and cutting processes in laser operations offered promising new contacts.

Following on from these positive results, we're already looking forward to the next SOUTHTEC in October 2021. And we'll be bringing more new innovative Fuchs Umwelttechnik products once again.

Shortage of skilled manpower? Not with us! Fuchs Umwelttechnik – Pantron Automation – Fountain Inn High School: The cooperation with a future

Fuchs Umwelttechnik and Pantron Automation are founding a new partnership with the Fountain Inn High School in South Carolina to support and encourage future generations of qualified skilled professionals. As a pioneer of training in progressive production and technology, the school creates close relations between industry and teaching from which all those involved gain lasting benefits.

The cooperation began at the Pantron Automation booth at the SouthTec Fair 2025, USA. From a technical exchange on the powerful, highly modern extraction technology of Fuchs Umwelttechnik, a strategic dialogue on the changing requirements of modern production and the possibilities of targeted qualification of young talent developed.

The background: This is exactly the principle that the Fountain Inn High School follows, to prepare their students for careers in progressive production, engineering and related technical fields with special programmes, says Ken Barker, specialist teacher at the educational facility. With both practical training courses and a syllabus that is also adapted to industry, the school responds appropriately to the growing demand for skilled personnel and engineering talents.

The implementation: A progressively operating educational institution and two competent international industrial partners create an effective win-win situation for all parties: the excellent preparation of skilled workers for constant innovation in industry. Together, they help young people to acquire the knowledge, the tools and the practical experience that they need for a successful career in the high-tech branch.

The success: Industry gets qualified recruits, whilst the trainees gain access to state-of-the-art technology and realistic insight into industrial processes. Fuchs Umwelttechnik, Pantron Automation and the Fountain Inn High School thereby emphasize their common commitment to innovation, quality and a strong, sustainable workforce development.

INRVABE3.1 powdering module now available to fit TKFVA devices – added safety in the most compact device series with automatic filter cleaning!
With this new development, the INRVABE3.1 powdering module can also be operated easily on the most compact device series with automatic filter cleaning TKFVA – an efficient and low-cost fire protection solution that is specially adapted to smaller quantities of pollutants.

The conversion unit was developed at the request of a customer who is already equipped with numerous TKFVA devices. For their sensor production, they required additional safety measures against the reactive dusts of CrNi steels and titanium. Since the INRVABE3.1 powdering module is designed exclusively for the higher emission quantities of the MKFVA and INRV device types, the consequence would be an expensive total replacement of the extraction and filtering units. Economically, this is no option and not at all what we have in mind.

To meet our customers' requirements, our engineers therefore designed the TKFVAÜG6 conversion unit especially for the appropriate performance data of the most compact device series with automatic filter cleaning TKFVA. With this, the INRVABE3.1 powdering module can now also be used for smaller emission quantities.

Sophisticated in every detail:

  • Constant discharge through a chute into a 20-litre barrel by optimum positioning to the TKFVA, even during operation
  • The powdering has been parametrised exactly for the smaller emission quantities
  • A pinch valve is no longer required for the activation
  • PE-film in the barrel for contamination-free disposal
  • Barrel emptying by a quick clamp offline

With the new TKFVAÜG6 conversion unit, our customers now have a complete safety solution especially for smaller emission quantities at their disposal which can easily be integrated into existing systems.
