Engineering.
Right from the start.
From the very first contact – it is our engineers who give you competent advice.

Engineering starts with the first customer meeting
The application consulting/project planning
From the very start, you will be advised by our engineers who will attend to your issues with well-founded knowledge. With this customer-orientated approach, Fuchs Umwelttechnik creates the decisive preconditions for supplying you with the perfect extraction and filtering unit to suit your needs.
Whether a new purchase or the expansion of existing units or extraction systems are concerned, our engineers develop the ideal solution with you, our customers.
What does the work process look like? What materials are processed? What pollutant emissions occur? Our engineers analyse these and many other key points together with the customer.
Customer requirements
Our engineers examine all the customer's requirements for the extraction and filtering units right through to future planned purposes. Important factors are therefore included in the planning to ensure trouble-free and efficient implementation of the pollutant elimination.
Goal definition
After these preparations, the engineers at Fuchs Umwelttechnik define, together with the customer, the requirement specification with the objectives for the optimum extraction and filtering unit. All of the relevant components can then be calculated and adapted to each other perfectly in the planning and implementation phase.

Engineering knows the figures
The order
Based on the objectives, our engineers prepare a well-founded offer in the next step. They analyse the necessary components, their costs and calculate all of the details for an economically and technically perfect solution – for the optimally equipped extraction and filtering unit.
Our engineers look after the entire order handling, are in constant contact with the customer and are able to make adaptations directly at any time if required.

Engineering makes complex things simple
The planning
Every one of our extraction and filtering units is based on the comprehensive knowledge and technical know-how of the project engineers at Fuchs Umwelttechnik. Their excellent solutions evolve with an eye for the whole picture and a passion for detail, their great wealth of experience and against the background of the latest research.
Our project management
Our engineers coordinate all development processes from this phase onwards. From the concept through implementation up to the final unit. Resources are used optimally; the time schedule planned. Regular consultations with the customer and rapid response risk management support trouble-free implementation.
Special safety concepts
Where safety options such as explosion and fire protection are concerned, our engineers are the right experts to ask.
Fuchs Umwelttechnik is the market leader in inertisation, a process for pre-emptive fire protection. Complete explosion protection systems as well as explosion-protected versions of existing units round off the product portfolio as safety options. This know-how is reflected especially in the development of our laser protection booths, laser workstations and cleaning booths.

Engineering means quality
The implementation
A sophisticated flow control for maximum efficiency with the lowest possible energy consumption, intelligent control systems, the choice of long-lasting materials, perfectly matched components, etc. – our engineers pay attention to every detail. A forward-looking and sustainable strategy which effectively saves costs at the same time.
For special requirements and customer specifications, the engineers of Fuchs Umwelttechnik develop individual special systems in various different versions and sizes.
DesignSince its founding more than 40 years ago, Fuchs Umwelttechnik has relied on a modular design principle for its extraction and filtering units. This gives the engineers the possibility to react flexibly and, at the same time, with a keen awareness of costs, to all customer demands.
If conditions should change in the future, it is no problem for our experts to adapt all of the elements of the capture system and extraction and filtering units using modular expansion and conversion options. The same unit works after the conversion with optimized results.
The know-how and the technological resources in cooperation with Fuchs New Technologies ensure excellent implementation with sophisticated, future-oriented solutions.
Tests and trials
In addition to calculations and simulations, our engineers start actual tests if necessary. In the in-house laboratory, they simulate the customer's specific situation in test series with equipment set-ups and samples of the pollutants. The data acquired provide important information and excellently complement the development of the suitable extraction and filtering unit.
Production
From the smallest interchangeable filtering unit to the towering unit with automatic filter cleaning, every extraction and filtering unit as well as the individual special systems are built exclusively by our production specialists in the Fuchs Umwelttechnik assembly hall in Steinberg – from the first screw right through to the test run.
The engineers of Fuchs Umwelttechnik are involved in all processes. Whether components such as control systems, fans, filter elements or the metal quality have to be assessed or production processes have to be planned, they look after the complete production line from the selection of suppliers through to further developments. There are good reasons for the quality of Fuchs Umwelttechnik.
Quality testing
Fuchs Umwelttechnik subjects all extraction and filtering units to an exactly defined test procedure prior to delivery. At this time, every component has already passed a computer-based quality test.

Engineering for the perfect extraction and filter solution
The success model
From the flow-optimized pollutant extraction to the complete filtering – it is all perfectly adapted.
You are safely protected from emissions such as eroding mist, emulsion mist or oil mist, from gases, odours, laser emissions or solvent vapours, from soldering fumes and plasma emissions, welding fumes, smoke, dusts and many other pollutants.
Protection at the work place
Clean breathing air at the work place is imperative for the health and safety of employees. It is indispensable and a vital good as well as the basis for productive, motivated employees.
Protection of equipment
Clean air protects the equipment and machinery from contamination and costly repairs. It improves machine service lives and prolongs the life of expensive components.
Service and support
Our engineers remain your contacts after the sale, to guarantee you the safety of a perfectly working extraction and filtering unit at all times.
We also offer other services such as maintenance by our qualified service technicians on request.
